Comcast’s Silicon Valley Innovation Center features a progressive environment where multi-disciplinary teams work on products that reach millions of people through virtually every media channel, every day.

Since its conception, Comcast’s Silicon Valley Innovation Center (CSV) has grown to include more than 250 talented engineers, product designers, product managers, program mangers and IT/TechOps professionals. Our office has grown from one floor to three, and while we create and iterate upon some of the largest entertainment products and supporting networks anywhere, we still work hard to encourage and maintain a start-up culture.

In addition to working with the rest of Comcast NBCUniversal, the Innovation Center leverages local Silicon Valley partnerships with start-ups and large companies alike to drive innovation and commercialize new technology across a spectrum of broadband, entertainment, business services and home automation platforms.

CSV was designed to meet the needs of our people, our products and our entrepreneurial spirit.

The first question many people ask is, “what’s your office environment like?” Our office features a semi-open floor plan that encourages teamwork and collaboration. But it’s not just open space without consideration. Our individual workspaces are large and comfortable, allowing people to focus when they need to, while larger collaboration areas, private alcoves and game rooms can also be found in several places around the office. Oh, and did we mention the fully stocked kitchen?

While our current work space is relatively new our Innovation Lab has been in Silicon Valley since 2008. As our team grew from 60 employees to nearly 250 talented engineers, product designers, technology architects and more, we quickly outgrew our space and moved into our Sunnyvale location in 2011.

The expanded Innovation Center not only provides a fun and collaborative work environment for our Bay Area team, but it also offers a meeting place for our network of partners and clients across the industry.

The Innovation Center is part of Comcast’s broader technology arm, Comcast Labs, which is focused on building new products that change how people connect to entertainment, information and their communities. In addition to Silicon Valley, Comcast Labs has development centers in Seattle, Philadelphia, Denver and Washington D.C.
